The Challenge
Beyond dated interiors and inefficient layouts, the home had experienced significant subfloor settlement, resulting in uneven floors and structural instability. Before any renovation could begin, the underfloor structure required strengthening and re-levelling to create a safe, stable foundation. Only then could the internal transformation proceed.
Structural Rectification Works
Before any internal renovation could proceed, we prioritised stabilising the structure. The subfloor system was strengthened, levels were corrected and new supports were installed to re-establish a safe, even foundation. Addressing these underlying issues first ensured the renovation would be durable, compliant and built to last — not simply cosmetic.
Layout & Window Improvements
Enhancing light, flow and everyday functionality
Internal walls were reconfigured and outdated windows replaced to improve natural light, ventilation, and overall flow. Larger glazed openings and a refined layout transform the space into a bright, seamless living environment designed for modern family life.
Kitchen Renovation

The kitchen was completely reconfigured to improve workflow, storage, and everyday usability. Outdated cabinetry was replaced with custom joinery, stone benchtops, and durable finishes designed for long-term performance.

A U-shaped layout maximizes bench space while maintaining clear circulation, and new windows introduce natural light to create a brighter, more welcoming environment. Brass fixtures, herringbone tiling, and refined detailing add warmth and character, transforming the kitchen into a modern family hub for cooking, dining, and entertaining.

A calm, modern retreat designed for everyday comfort
The bathroom was completely reimagined to replace the dated and enclosed layout with a brighter, more open space focused on simplicity and function. A walk-in shower with frameless glass improves circulation and accessibility, while full-height stone-look tiles create a seamless, low-maintenance finish.

Brushed brass tapware, a custom vanity, and soft lighting introduce warmth and refinement, transforming the room into a calm, spa-like retreat. The result is a modern bathroom that feels spacious, durable, and designed for comfortable everyday living.
Laundry Renovation
Smart storage and everyday functionality
The laundry was reconfigured to maximise efficiency within a compact footprint. Custom shaker cabinetry, an integrated washer and dryer, and a durable stone benchtop create a streamlined, highly functional workspace for daily use. Overhead storage keeps clutter hidden, while the external glazed door improves natural light and ventilation.

Finished with matching joinery, brass fixtures, and the same material palette as the kitchen, the space feels cohesive and considered — transforming a once-forgotten utility room into a practical extension of the home.
