The original kitchen reflected an older U-style configuration with bulky cabinetry, ageing laminate surfaces and dark timber floors that visually narrowed the space. Storage was limited, bench areas were tight, and the layout separated the kitchen from the living zones, making everyday cooking and entertaining feel cramped and inefficient. Small windows and dated finishes further reduced natural light, leaving the room feeling enclosed and disconnected from the rest of the home.
