This architecturally designed renovation was led by Grimshaw Architects, with design direction by Lawson Heah, to thoughtfully tailor the home to the lifestyle needs of its new owners. Kitchen, Bathroom & Laundry Renovations
Practical Spaces with Design Clarity
The scope included a complete kitchen renovation, bathroom renovation, and laundry renovation, each executed with a strong focus on usability, materiality, and cohesion. The kitchen features clean-lined cabinetry and warm material tones to support daily function while maintaining visual simplicity. The laundry was refined into a compact and efficient service space, integrated seamlessly with the home’s interior palette. In contrast, the bathroom renovation introduces richer texture and colour, delivering a contemporary retreat that balances comfort with a refined architectural finish.
Internal Painting & New Flooring
A Cohesive Finish Throughout the Home
To complete the transformation, the home received full internal painting to introduce a calm, light contemporary palette that enhances natural light and creates a unified backdrop across all living areas. New herringbone-pattern timber flooring was installed throughout, adding warmth, texture, and visual rhythm while becoming a defining feature of the home’s character. Together, these finishes elevate the interior and deliver a timeless foundation that complements the architectural intent and supports long-term everyday living.
